I don't appreciate derogatory comments, or teenage name calling. Enjoy! Probably the reason this is the longest running thread is there is allot of people that care and can relate to JCI not providing the customer what was spec'd and what he paid for. That is all I am asking for once again. The Job is not closed out yet all due to JCI still under manning the project. They have not completed the last punch list. Probably partially due to JCI's Project Manager made a big mistake on his part by agreeing as a punch list line item in black & white to install a second NAE55 & a ADS/ADX So he is Caught RED HANDED!! by The way he committed this to the Control Engineers that designed the control system. Luckily they have seen through his continuous lying and are not going to let him off the hook (At least I hope not) Remember Liar's have to be good thinkers. He is smart enough to get out of this one!! For all you negative posters if you don't like this thread don't read it. Its just that simple.
Freddy, You and I know putting graphics onto an NAE isn't the best idea. Odds are the sales person overlooked it. Maybe they were supposed to be spread over two NAEs, maybe they thought there would only be a few graphics. Who knows what was originally thought. The question I was bringing up; is the system functional. In whose opinion did JCI meet or not meet what they were required to do. Maybe the school plans to add devices to do odds and ends monitoring/control, and now their not happy because their NAE is loaded. I'm sure the fact this guy is a contols know it all has crossed the minds of those holding the strings. Give'em an inch and he'll see what else he can pull out of em. Chet post below- Quote from JCI Project Manager: I am still looking into the NAE55 issue, we may not need a new device. If you recall my 1st post he has been stalling since 8/31/07--- JCI probably thinks it's working just fine under normal opertating conditions by the sounds of that. Or that's what the technical people are telling him/her. Either way, whatever the result I just wonder what the end decision is going to be and why.
Keepinitkoolaid2003 You are right there are probably several reasons this particular NAE has issues. However, they still sound like issues covered under the scope of the project. Is it not still the responsibility of them to deliver a properly working system regardless? Also , If graphics were spec'd Not putting a ADS in the bid is insane.

Is this the longest running Thread ever on this site? This is getting old, its obvious there is an ulterior motive here as the Beagel hinted at. From what I read this system has been functional for quite sometime, since I remember something about a punch list. You apparently don't have a leg to stand on contract wise. The reason being, I don't remember reading anything in the MONTHS this post has gone on, about "expansion capacity, free memory, device load, point count, object count, not to exceed x%" The NAE cut sheet people have posted up is like the EPA estimated gas mileage, unless- under X conditions, under a blue mood, at the exact moment 4000 things happen at the same time, this device can do much more than indicated. If I slap a cut sheet of a... Trane control in front of you that says it can have 6,000 objects, and my NAE sheet now has this big chart with 25 variables because of you, that will estimate the allowed object count, 9/10 people will just pick Trane. 5000 is a marketing tool, you can have 2000 objects on an NAE and cash it if you did the right combination of things. They designed the job and know what that system has to do. That's what you'll usually see in big jobs, you have one NAE, that’s a tiny job. The engineer pulled out of their big book of standard "school temp control sequences" and slapped it on blueprints” Start blaming the engineer/mechanical contractor for not writing custom lines in their specifications. You haven't mentioned any functional problems; you have all kinds graphics by the looks of the flash. Are all your LCT processes, scheduling, interlocks executing? Corporate boys probably aren’t going to help you, you may be a customer, but you've made it clear your one their probably not going to see again. If the local guys haven't done anything, they know they can stand up and take it, you really think their just going to just say.... yeah, that guy is right, let’s throw 10,000 in the hole, just stop all their jobs and make your change. This isn't government operation here. I guess its big green/blue now, not big blue. Big blue will get paid and you'll go on crying on here for another few months; meanwhile the little NAE that could will keep chugging along like it has for however long you've been complaining about it on here. The Beagle is right. End my Rant, and all the JCI bashers will post 50 replies. Originally Posted by Chet1508 PLEASE HELP JCI STILL WILL NOT INSTALL THE 2ND NEA55 & ADS/ADX. Do you or anyone else on this site no a name and phone number to someone from corporate who would care about this and make the local branch do what is right for the customer. I am running out of time. Quote from JCI Project Manager: I am still looking into the NAE55 issue, we may not need a new device. If you recall my 1st post he has been stalling since 8/31/07

Guys, I appreciate your willingness to help. However, if you want to share contact information, please send Chet an email. It's listed in his profile. Please do not post names, phone numbers, and email addresses unless it's your own. Then, they go in your profile - not in forum posts. Thanks!
Chet here is the number for the sales manager for the region. This is at least a starting point. Central Region Michael D <removed>

Nothing wrong with that. I just wonder where in the pecking order Chet is? Why should it be his problem? Did he volunteer? Will there be something extra in his paycheck Friday? I get the impression he wasn't involved from the get go. He could be labeled an Alarmist by his targets. Rotten E-mails behind the back if you know what I mean. His target is JCI but you can bet JCI has their counter parts that are in that school system. Guilt spread by association if you catch my drift. After all if he is in the educational establishment, he is operating in one highly politically charged environment. Freddy you might as well know i don't like to throw insults around and I try to avoid negativity. But I have to wonder could this be a case of Glory Hounding? What say you Chet? Set the Beagle straight.
I think he is just flustrated. He just wants to get what he paid for and what was spec'd. Would you be any different? Freddy
Freddy b wonders why i don't post here often. Well here goes. Chet I get the feeling you are tilting at windmills like Don Quixote. I wonder how far along in life you are. Instead of a life raft maybe it would be better to learn to swim. Sometimes it's better to stand back and let the crap hit the fan. You could find yourself the hero or the heel. Enough of the platitudes, I digress.
The local branch guys have to give it to you if you ask. But here is the link to website contact info. http://www.johnsoncontrols.com/publi...n/contact.html Choose "corporate" in the drop down box, be polite, very descriptive but at the same time remain firm. They should get back to you in a reasonable time frame. Send the exact same message to "Building Efficiency" as well and tell each one you did so. The person that replies back to you may not be who you actually need to speak with, but they will make sure you get to the right place. Freddy
