My brother bought a new custom Dart 340 in Jan '73. Last year for 340s. No decals. Fold down back seats. Used to let me drive it to school once in a while. Stupid brother..stupid stupid brother. I tried to wrap it around everything and anything I could find but in the long run I never put a scratch on it. Dad used to say the back wheels were always trying to catch up to the front ones. I near bought a '69 Dart 318..didn't come anywhere near the 340.

The 17 digit VIN numbers didn't become required untill around 1981 or so.

I have never owned a car with a 17 digit VIN number. Newest car is a 1980 Triumph TR7 and 1980 Rover SD1.

Just curious, why are you getting rid of it? I know you said you are going to miss it, and I've heard so many people say they have had toys and really miss them, ETC.

I always wonder why they get rid of their toys when they hate so much to part with them.

I'm gonna say $6,500-7,000. No pix of the inside. Must be a reason. I'd guess
    1. Plain dash with big gas guage, no extras.
    2. Bench seat, no console.
    3. Auto with shifter on the "tree".

Too bad we cant post sound tracks on here - would love to hear her run!!! Used to have a 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner - came with a 318 but after going through a few of them I put in a mildly built 360 - man - that woke the car up more than I could believe. AAAHHH - the good ole days!!! If I could I would bid on it - that is for sure!!!
