    My old boss was that way, he would struggle to get out of bed 15 min. before work and he wouldn't quit beeing grouchy till after 10 A.M. the 12 pack he stayed up till midnight drinkin didn't help.

    I guess I'm the exception.

    It's still a struggle to drag my azz out of bed at 5:30.

    I'd sleep till 6 if they'd let me.

    Oh, I usually wake up about five thirty everyday ... I go to bed about eleven or so. I used to not need an alarm clock, I listen to music for about fifteen minutes or until the dog insist on being walked.

    I am the same 5 hours a night if I fall asleep at 7 up at midnight. Been like that as long as I can remember. About twice a year I will sleep double that but I feel like garbage the whole day. I don't even have an alarm clock in my room

    I've been do n the same thing, I sleep with a CPAP machine, it puts me out like a light but I still wake about 4. I do this about every 3 mths. for about a week.

    The older you get, the less sleep you need. Sunlight plays an important role also.

    I've been getting up between 4 and 4:30 every morning for the past two years. Haven't used my alarm clock in 5.

    I read about a guy who had a similar problem, so what the sleep lab did was let him wake and sleep as he wanted to.

    Gradually he got totally out of phase with daylight but then eventually he got back in phase and the problem left him.

    The trick was letting this condition take its course so he was once again in sync with normal day/night rhythms.

    Dunno' if it works for everybody.

    Internal clock

    My internal clock is messed up....Normal night is bed at 10 or 11 ish and up at 5:30. past two weeks its been bed at 9-10ish and up at 4! ive tried staying up till 11 but still waking at 4. anyone have similar issues? I sleep fine, its just i am waking at 4AM then tired by 9. Maybe the upcoming time change will fix it??
