Hey dude if it cost 6 grand for taylor to repair its a lot more than just a bad compressor, or a simple fix. If you are looking for a shake machine I have 11 of them for a whole lot less than you paid for one that doesnt work. Peace and R12 cost a lot if you can find it.

Not everyone is as dump as I think.

There normally is a list of items u check for a compressor not kicking on.

    Check power
    Check start capacitor/relay
Check freon. With guages or push the damn needle valve. If nothing comes. Ah damn it's empty or bad valve.

Now u don't have to do it my way. Yes i may not know everything but i have got far enough on my own. I don't need to pay someone to tell me what I already know. I didn't have the connectors to hook up to r12. Port. I bought those today. Pulled s vacuum down to -28 and waiting if it holds for 6 hours. (while I'm at work). I will put some dye in it and freon and find the leak.

    If the compressor is good.

The guy that was using the machine used it all summer like this. I paid 1500 for this unit. Taylor told him it would Cost 6000 for them to fix it.

Tonight i will pull a vacuum on it. Put some uv die in and fill it up. Only holds 8 oz. So won't take long

That's a good idea, keep adding feon till the compressor comes on.

    Taylor 794 Hopper Problems

Last year the hopper Compresser Was replaced. and the dude that replaced it DID not mount it at all. And now the hopper isn't cooling. It's kicking on the fan and that's it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on testing it. WIth out hooking up a set of guages. I did notice a wire was not connected to one of the coolent tubes.
