Today i used a micro channel repair kit with an aluminum rod with built in flux. Had to keep the heat low but worked pretty good.

Trane has a repair coupling for this application. will not work on microchannel. seek warranty replacement coil.
Someone used to make a compression coupling for aluminum. The name escapes me at the moment.
