I saw a 1.4% increase between first check of the year (15.9%) and one from 3 wks ago.(17.4%) Could be other variables.

Yeah I noticed a BIG difference. Mainly because I took the week off for a vacation (and didn't use vacation days) so I only got paid for the Jan 1 holiday. I'll see what everybody's complaining about on my next paycheck.

Only because Congress reduced the SS contributions in 2011 by 2%.

short paycheck?

did anyone notice a shortage in their paycheck this week? i have been hearing alot of ranting about it supposed to start this week. i was told it should be a fairly big cut. i don't have a paycheck to look at. just curiouse.
