In discretionary spending Bush makes Clinton look like a miser.

Bush has never vetoed a spending bill.

I would agree with you here geer, I don't know too many repubs that agree with his domestic spending habits.
However, EVERY Budget is of record size because the budget has never once decreased. Every year brings baseline increases across the board. The deficit may go up and down, but the budget continues to grow.

As for the libs, well, how can anyone argue with that.

I'm not sure about others but I don't want to live in a society where taxes are double their current rate, their is no acountability for anyone, we can't prosecute a criminal because we are too busy feeling sorry for him, the solution to every problem is just to throw more money at it until it gets fixed (even though it won't), I no longer have the right to own a gun to protect myself and family, lawyers are on every street corner soliciting work for even more law suits and the solution to balancing the budget is to cut the military until it can't function anymore to protect our own citizens.

I don't know about others but I feel the the less that the government is in my life the better I am . The government can run the military to protect its own citizens, can manage things like transportation with the help of private contractors and manage the legal system beyond that I would prefer they cut their size to about a third of what they are now. The libs won't facilitate this belief system.

the only right Unions fight for is the right for them to exist...and, continue collecting their not-so-hard earned union dues.
