i picked up a few new contracts & some of them have manitowoc S series with AUCS. Now each machine also has ice guard. I use ice guard all the time & in its paper it says in plain english do not leave in trough while using chemicals(sanitizer, nickel safe, etc..)what effects is this having on the systems performance or to the people ingesting these cubes ? also one of the machines has sanitizer & not the evap cleaner hooked up to aucs. can both be hooked up & why have the sanitizer as opposed to the evap cleaner ? sanitizing is good but also is keeping evap clean ..

From what I understand (I may be wrong) the chemicals in the cleaners react with the enzymes in the ice guard causing it to loose its effectivness.
