While God has definitely communicated with me in many different ways, talking is not one of them. I think if anyone "talked" to me and claimed to be God, I just might get a little suspicious.

See, geer. This is why so many people laugh at (not with) you. None of your posts are accurate or relevant. Good example is the one about the airport in Brunswick. While humorous at its core, it is both inaccurate and irrelevant.

All of your accusations in this vein have already been shown that these passages are being misrepresented. How many times do we have to go over the same accusations? Are you libby hatemongers really this stupid and forgetful or is your intent only to continue to cause dissent and chaos?

Old (Hebrew) Testament stuff, not teachings of Jesus Christ. I can't speak for God, but if these types of things are not misconceptions of the ancient Hebrews then God has certainly changed His attitude since having become incarnate as man.

Straight, but incomplete. God promised Abe that Isaac would have children. Abe also said that he and Isaac would return from their journey to Moriah. Pretty much indicates his faith in God to deliver Isaac, wouldn't ya say?

That's quite a stretch boot. The guy was up there ready for a burnt offering, was the ultimate leap of faith doing it because he was told to do it.
It's not like he was playing along, stalling and had faith that he would be stopped from carrying out the deed.

No argument from me on that. Abe was obedient even toi the point of being willing to sacrifice his only son. But he knew God would deliver Isaac. The 2 most basic things man is called to do by God...obey and trust.
Now I think I misunderstood the point of what you posted earlier.

I doubt you'd find Christians on the jury. Secularists typically fall for the "crazy Christian" plea...not Christians. I have yet to meet a Christian who said the woman was crazy. All say she's guilty and should be punished...most say the death penalty should apply.

God may be never changing in essense but it is absurd to believe that God is never changing in atitude. It is also absurd to believe that God does not err. After all; we are made in the image (spiritually speaking I believe) of God, so He must have similar attributes.

Can you quote just one Scripture where God made a mistake? (Sin is not God's mistake...it is ours.) Never changing means never changing. Yes, we are made in His image...not the other way around...and we have perverted that image via sin.

*yawn* I recall it now. I can readily see why Boots prefers to bury it.
For years a tribe dwelled in peace on their ancestral lands, bothering no one, just living, minding their own business.
God comes along and gets his panties in a wad because these harmless folks aren't impressed with god and refuse to sing hosannas to him.
God, loving soul that he is decides their lives are worthless and wishes to end their misery.
The minions of god are summoned whereupon god issues marching orders.
"Avenge me" cries god. "Poleax the men, decapitate the women, rape the animals, salt the fields, piss in the wells and so that no man forget, dash the infants onto rocks."
Basically Booties' apologetic was that God's feelings were hurt so he ordered an entire tribe massacred to assuage his fragile ego.
