BAD METAL SMELL UV LIGHT

I recently install a new Sanuvox Model R+ UV light in the return and also installed a Honeywell EAC. The home owner is now stating that he has a metalic smell in the home. Has any on seen this. The UV lamp is up stream of the EAC in the return.

It could be a ozone bulb. call sanuvox some put off ozone some do not.

it is the standard bulb it does prodece a very small amoun of ozone. Im thinking that in conjuction with the EAC it is doing some thing with the two units operating at the same time

installed a honeywell that had the same problem it had a switch to reduce ozone
cant remeber where but it is in the manual
