I just had my furnace replaced and would like to use the NEW (just bought it not expecting my furnace would break down) electrostatic filter I have from my last furnace. The filter is at the bottom of the furnace, not at the return air grille. My filter fits the intake openning to the furnace the same as my old furnace. In my last furnace, there was a clamp (a long u-shaped thing that had tension) that held the filter down so it wouldn't move up when the blower was on. The depth of the filter compartment on both of these furnaces is much bigger than the depth of the filter. Where can I purchase a clamp or filter tray to put into this openning so the filter doesn't move up and down when the blower is on and off?
