Does anyone have a wood-fired pizza oven at home?

I am in the design stage for mine and am looking for ideas to input.

I am looking at either the hi-tech route-

Or the ancient way...............

Either way, soon there will be some great smells coming from my back yard.:grin2:

I have often thought of building one myself. I have talked to a guy who built one. Cost a lot of money for the material. Fire brick and fire proof cement(?) There must be plans on the internet. Good Luck with your project. Take pics and post........

The best time to make pizza is in the winter. I just can't imagine standing outside in two feet of snow waiting for my pizza to cook.

Enjoy Arizonia

Could you go the ancient way and put wheels on it so you could move it away from swow ?
