Job Description:
The Project Manager is the Business Manager for Comfortrol on installation projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the technical application, coordination and implementation for assigned projects and/or accounts. The objective of this position is to implement the Company’s commercial/industrial HVAC project management effort through direct customer contact, supplier support and internal/external coordination as part of an overall project management support plan.



Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring effective handoff from the estimating department.
Responsible to ensure all records are accurate, organized and up to date at all times.
Meet regularly with owners, other constructors, trade contractors, vendors, engineers and others to monitor the coordinate all phases of the construction project.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the general contractor or owners project manager.
Responsible for RFI’s and review of responses to determine scope and cost impact.
Coordinate our work with the general contractor, subcontractors, inspectors, designers, and other technical support personnel to meet the project schedules and quality assurance.
Responsible for coordination of piping, plumbing, hvac controls, ductwork, insulation, and fire protection trades on commercial and industrial projects.
Interpretation of project specification and decision making for choices relating to equipment and materials.
Coordinate material takeoff, procurement, submittals, and delivery of material to the job when needed.
Manage scope ensuring any changes are appropriately handled.
Estimate change orders and new work related to the project; submit for approval; monitor approval status and ensure work is carried out upon approval.

currently self employed in a town about 45 miles west of columbus. I dont have a degree for the work you listed but, i could it. or relocate for another position if something comes up. Just about ready to turn this shop in. the guy i rent the building from is looking to sell the building out from under me, so looking at moving on
