Terrible odor from HVAC

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site. I have a 20 year old Armstrong HVAC
last week it started blowing this terrible "burnt popcorn" odor through the air ducts.. Any suggestions?

Dont cook popcorn in your furnace.



Have it cleaned and checked.

Time for a clean and check....something fell in there.

Had it been unused for a time? Are you missing some popcorn kernels? Possible that mice/rats stored some on top of your heat exchanger?

We checked it and vacumed out any left over dirt, there was no debris or rodents.

Possibly in the ductwork, get a pro in there and let them do the stalking.
