I just replaced one of these machines with a separated ice grid. Does anyone no where I might find a used evap in working condition? If I could fix it cheap, it would serve well as a shop machine. The service and retro guys could ice up in the morning.

Well it may be a shot in the dark, but if you know of one let me know.

That's the first thing to go on those little beasties. Lot's of luck trying to find one. ;)

You might be better off calling Bayshore Equipment in Miami and try to get a little extra discount on a new evap since it's for your shop use.

Sounds like you have a couple of quality accounts like us. I love the ones that want used parts or even better they have their own refrigerant in the back of the store.

I have slowly weened myself away from such wonderful customers, I cleaned enough greasy floors with my clothes over the years. I still have a few who won't let me go though.:D

I know what you mean. They never seem to loose your number, then act as if they are your greatest customer "because they are loyal and never go with anyone else". LOL

Its even better on a strip mall when the guy sugjests that you go strip the parts off of a vacant store and put the parts on his, so he can save money.
