When would one use a 3XNOR Logic Gate in HVAC?

You really need to explain what a 3xnor Gate is. Not all of us are up on the AND, OR, NOR gates, or need a refresher. It has been 21 years since I learned the basics on the Gates.
Many may think it is a joke at Bill's expense. (including me)

Let's see if I can remember something from 25 years ago..

if none of three events are indicating a hi state, you will have a high output. This could mean that circuit is checking to see if there is a reason to inhibit an operation, such as a triac output to engage a contactor.

Why do you ask?

On the IC level, you can build any logic flow using NAND gates. Are you trying to design a control board?
