door gasket replacement

Do you guys have any tricks as to replacing door gaskets. I know ive heard they can be hard to put the new ones in. The units im talking about are turbo air systems. One is a small cabinet unit with a table on top to cut food. The other is a side by side deal.

anytime i installed new ones i soaked them in hot water to make them plyable and also used a heat gun very carefully!
