Have a Recold tube bundle in a JC-165 to change out. Bundle is solid rock and has already had passes cut out of the low temp due to leaks. The new bundle is 1600 pounds shipping weight. I think we need to add at least 1500 pounds to the total pick weight for all the rock. If anyone has changed out the bundle on one of these towers any suggestions would be great!! It looks like its gonna suck real bad!!

leave the bundle on the roof with a ladder against wall-
all that copper will mysteeriously disappear..
the ladder will be okay- copper prices are way up ...
better safe than sorry on wt.- customer getting crane bill anyway right! Never done one but yep I think you in for loooooong day. Make sure you get some of Recolds goop for the panel gaskets. Sorry they wont go for the whole shebang.

never had to pull a bundle but we did have to install one
in pieces. You're absolutely right - sucks majorly.
Ditto on the seal strips. Last thing you want is to fill it back up and have a leak.
