Programmable thermostat for carrier heat pump 38ycb

Seeking advice on the proper programable thermostat for my carrier heat pump model 38ycb...I have a honeywell RTH6300b but it says it is not compatable on a heat pump with auxiliary heat....I do not know if I have this...? Thank you for your assistance...

If you have electric strip heaters, or gas or oil back up, you have aux heat.

Check out a W-R 1F85-275. A little cheaper but just as reliable.
