Commercial "Tech's" Needed in the DC, MD and VA area, NOT bodies. I have enough bodies
Looking for 10 years+ commercial service experience and am not afraid to pay for it.
Family owned non union company that has been around since 1945 as well as me for a bit now :D
Top 10 in DC, with plenty of work.
"I" can honestly say that the big thing for me here is "Family", they come first, rare find IMO.
Email addy in my profile and more than willing to hand out my cell for any interested.

I'm originally from that neck of the woods and sometimes I miss the old neighborhood, but I am way too happy where I am at to think about moving back up there :grin2:
Good luck, though!

It's a shame but now a days you can't find anyone who wants to put in a good 8 hours work and actually do something! I have noticed that there are not alot of younger guys coming into the field. As far as good commercial techs, welcome to the club! We can't find them either! I personally have thought about giving up the baby-sitting, OOPS, supervisor job I have, and get back out on the street again. That way I only have myself to worry about.

Bobz.... I dont know about that post. You have no idea how muchI would love to get into commercial/controls. Unfortunately I am not a youngun..... but I love to learn and therein lies my downfall. Not many seem to want to train someone new into the field. I have about 9 yrs residential exp mostly heat pumps, but some LP furnaces and geothermal and some light commercial. I beg for extra hrs. I cant make it on just 40hrs a week. Heck I would even travel...

Bubbs,
There are some guys like yourself who want to work. I just meant that there are fewer and fewer young guys looking to work for a living! Our company does training, both in house and in the field. We have a conveinance store division, a supermarket division, a food service and a soda division. Alot of guys I hire start in the construction/install department for a year or two and then they can move into the service dept if they want. BTW, where did you get the avatar? Colts???? LOL
