TOOL CASES AND STORAGE

Years ago I relized that if I had it in a case I would not lose the attachements and parts for it
Now I relize that I have ALOT of cases to put away.
Has Anyone come up with a system for stacking and storing cases?
Seems they are all about 16" wide and up to 24 " long

i like to keep my tools in the case, but my dewalt drill, you cant see where all the parts go, it takes too long to put everything a way.

i'm going to cut some of the slots out to make it easier.

i wonder if they did that on purpose as a joke
