There are 295 million Americans. 117 million Americans voted. The majority of Americans DID NOT VOTE.
60 million voted for Bush.
57 million voted for Kerry.
In other words, most people don't care. Of those who care, 51% were for one guy and 48% were for the other one while 1% wanted someone else.
According to one group, 60 million Americans voted for an evil man.
According to the other group, 57 million Americans voted for a traitor.
Meanwhile, 180 million Americans could care less.
So what percent of the non-voters is actually among the 2/3rds who think we shouldn't be in Iraq? What percent of the non-voters is among the 2/3rds who don't want any change to social security?
Because while we're calling each other names, the real problem lies sleeping in the corner.
