To delete all threads started based on a News story that does not give a source link.

Sources will be posted from now on.

Newspaper writers and publishers should not have to disclose sources if they are asked by the source not to. But that is not the issue here.

What has come before should remain.

For instance the post you and mafia just made. Much like the rest you two make is a waste of time. Many political forums will not leave a thread up about a news event with out a source. It is a waste of time looking for a source that should be posted with the story.

This may be one of the few times that I agree with James. All good researchers post thier sources.

It is also one of the few times you wrote something intelligent. Totally caught me of guard.

Yeah, James. If they do that, there will be a lot of comedic value lost. Leave ac and refer alone.

You did ask him to post his sources :-)

'Some Bush backers claim he's not a liar, he's just not very bright and doesn't remember things very well. That may be true, but we're sure Bush would not allow such an excuse in his "responsibility era." We're sure Bush would agree that if he's that dumb, he shouldn't be President.

Other Bush backers claim that some of his lies are "technically correct" or "tailored to fit the audience," or some such circumlocution. What they're talking about are lies of omission rather than lies of commission. In lies of omission it's what they imply, not what they say. For example, the other evening Bush told Congress and the American people that he was putting a "lock box" on Social Security.

Now, it's very clear that Bush wanted us to feel secure in the belief that he was protecting all of our Social Security funds for the future. No question, right? Yet, the very next day when his budget book was released, we learned that Bush told a lie of omission. What he didn't tell Congress and the American people is that he would later take from $.6 to $1 trillion out of that "lock box" to cover his tax cuts. No doubt, Bush lied. He wanted folks to believe something that he knew was not true.'

I think anything used should have the proper citations in APA or MLA fromat in order to give the oringinal author credit for their work. Anything that is over 2 words that is not your orignal work and that is not cited properly in the aforementioned formats should be deleted for being plagerized.

I never asked him to use my thread to make a statement or be a dumb ass, nor did I ask you. I asked the Mods to start deleting threads started with no link source. Not staying on a thread topic is just as bad as no link source.

I took this stupid topic and made a real thread out of it and got you more replys than you can get posting for a month of Sundays and you don't appreciate it. Shame on you.
