I've been working with Trane units for years now and understand their model #'s pretty good, but I cannot tell the SEER rating of an American Standard H/P... Any help would be appreciated.

All I can tell is that it is a 4 ton R-22 unit.
A Trane would be more like 2TWR1048R1000AB
4 Ton 10 Seer R-22 unit

Only the 3 and 5 indicate seer. 3= 13 seer and 5 = 15 seer ect. ect........
The second "0" just means it has "Brazed" connections.

It would be nice if all of the equipment manufacturers would use a universal coding system. That would make everything easier! :gah:
