I got this from the web site of the window manufacture I got my windows from

Temporary causes of interior condensation
• Building materials in new construction contribute many gallons of moisture to the interior air and it
often takes one year for all of the moisture to escape.
• During the first few weeks of heating during the cold season, condensation can be a problem due
to the release of moisture absorbed inside the house throughout the humid summer.
• Quick changes in temperature during the heating or cooling season can contribute to higher
levels of condensation.
To avoid interior condensation
• Vent all appliances to the outdoors.
• Vent the attic.
• Vent all crawl spaces.
• Cover bare ground in crawl spaces with plastic sheeting.
• Be sure all vent ducts are clear of lint and other obstructions.
• Run exhaust fans in kitchen and bathrooms.
• Turn humidifiers down as the temperature outside gets colder (if used for medical purposes, consult a doctor).
• Use a dehumidifier.
• Do not dry firewood indoors.
• Open window coverings slightly.
• If necessary, relocate heat vents to beneath window and patio doors.

and if this comes up as large bold print , I have no idea how I changed it

That was funny. I will open the windows and doors when it gets cold here also. Mean while I need new windows, mine have fogged up in the double pane. Roy
