I was listening to the radio today at work (which I normally don’t do) and heard a report of protestors at Walter Reed hospital and of people sending cards to our injured soldiers telling them they wished them dead

People that have no idea what these men and women have gone through following orders and ultimately getting injured in the line of duty

I heard this hours ago and am still real po’d
Wtf is wrong with people I mean it is one thing to protest the war but not our troops
I truly wish that I could be at one of those protests one day because it would be worth the time spent in jail to beat a few of those worthless excuses for human beings to the point that they need to wear diapers

As far as all who have served and all that have family serving best wishes to you and yours and a thank you from me
(I put my time in the army and have the utmost respect for anyone who has to fight so that we can be free)

I agree. Usually, there are only four people who I will risk going to jail for by beating someone up. My grandma, my mama, my wifey, and my daughter, in that case I would add "our troops" to that list.

I thought that we learned a lesson ablout blaming military, especially on the personal level, for follies of an Administrations actions... I guess some people do not read accurate history books.

I think that it is shameful, if it is true, that people would do something like that. It's not the soldiers fault they have to go to war, they are just doing their jobs, usually the best that they can...

It does sound a little fishy, and something to slam anti war protesters with..

I am not gonna put this story in the rumor bin, until more coverage and investigations have been done...

well, from that report, I did not see any mention of "protesters wishing vetrans"dead", but I do think that it is a poor arena for a war protest. These are just the victims of the war, how can you blame them for government policy, that they had nothing to do with?

I say that these protesters have to think about this a little more, and move it somewhere more appropriate, like the whitehouse, etc...

Fred Phelps might be behind this.
