Just wondering if any business owners had any info on setting-up bookkeeping for my planned small HVAC business I hope to start next year.

most accountants prefer that you use quickbooks. it has soe drawbacks for our type of biz, but overall isnt bad. it is inexpensive, and works fine for me. it is pretty simnple to navigate, and easily gives you a snapshot of your biz with a few mouse clicks, assuming you properly input the information.

Yeah quickbooks is what I would assume is the standard for most small company's. I use it... No complaints here.

If you have an accounting degree and want all the bells and whistles, get Simply Accounting. If you want an easy to use and understand program with everything you will need, Quickbooks it is.
