I have a customer that cut his interruptible service wire (24vac), removed the 110 box and radio box and threw them out thinking it was from the cable company.
Apparently, Edison will not install a new radio box until the 110 box is installed....huh??? It was my understanding that they used to install both.
Not anymore....part of all the cutbacks going on these days I guess.
So I just spent 2 hours trying to find one of these splice boxes that mount under the radio box.
The counter guy told me that they are getting hard to find and that companies from other states are buying them up in MI.
