Hi again

Thanks for all your help!!!

Ok finally decided on a Trane XV90. Two stage ,variable speed . Now what I need to know is what thermostat should I use on it? My estimate was for a T87 touchscreen. Will that give me the ability to use all the features available on the XV90? If not which Tstat should I ask him to install?

Thank-You again for your advice... You are all a credit to your profession!! (thank-god that you chose this instead of comedy,as some of your jokes are pretty lame...) Haha Just kidding......

t87 touchscreen? I've been outta the resi loop for a while, maybe...

I use the visionpro touchscreen in my place and I friggin love it, great stat and that furnace you got is a perfect partner for it.

Sorry, all I know is the T87 is that its made by Honeywell.

T87 = round thermostat

It doesn't have a touchscreen. You might want to call your contractor for some clarification.

Wow,

Thank-you so much. Will definately clarfy with him. He definately told me touchscreen, but he wrote t87. Glad i checked. At least It'll look like i know what I'm talking about...lol... Probably just an oversite.

I think there is a t87 touch screen also, but its not 2 stage.

Not that I'm aware of...
I believe they are all listed as either XL800 series or as a TCONT number.

Yep, the only T87 stat i've ever heard of is the honeywell round.

The new t87 is round just like hte old one.

ACS is down so I couldn't get the full product number from them.

It may only be digital, not sure its touch screen, I've put 6 on in the last 2 years.
