Okay guys I'm a pro, But I do commercial refrigeration. So I don't know a whole lot about duct work and such. Here's my issue. One side of the house is comfortable, and the other side always is the opposite. I don't have duct work collapsed. I have a 4ton lennox. How can I test to see if I have too much air pressure on one side instead of the other. What should I see coming out of the returns CFM wise. Thanks guys.

Use a manometer to measure the static pressures. the returns should be bringing roughly 1600 CFM back to the furnace/air handler.

...System location in home, location of problem areas (relative to system), cycle times, problem description, size of house, insulation levels,...

Thats what I see from here!! So confirm that there is more than one
return? It it a ranch or big up/down layout?
poor man test-- is tape a piece of paper at the register and measure how
far it blows up from the floor!! Course that couldnt be you if your
a commercial refer guy!! [laugh here]
Please get back to us and tell us what you did to fix it.
