Im trying to find a damn LED work light with a lithium ion battery.

Idk i guess i would really be hopping for a 60 LED light, milwaukee, that would work with my m18 batteries.

right now i got the 2 craftsman LED lights. 1 is battery, 1 is plug in. But i want longer lasting battery. It has NiMH battery. I want a lithium one.

Obviously the best option would be a Milwaukee m18 led light but no such thing exists. LOL

right now im lookin at this one. simply because the battery is removable. But ok they make it removable, but then i cant find replacement batteries anywhere?http://shopping.yahoo.com/765747036-ast6360-60-led-lithium-cordless-work-light-wth-rechargeable-battery-pack-6360/

Why the hell are there no LED work lights with replaceable lithium batteries? Idk im baffled as im searching for one. Am i missing something?

LOL i do have the milwaukee m18 led flash light, but i want a damn work light too with at least 60 LEDs.

Surefire are expensive but are next door to bulletproof.

I have been carrying an incandescent model of that light for 15 years.

I like the Streamlight Knucklehead Strong magnet C4 led 360 degree rotating head 4AA batteries that the company buys. Wonderful light at about 60 bucks. It fits well in a Veto :yes:

If your a milwaukee guy do yourself a favour and get the M12 LED work light. It has one little surface mount LED and it is absolutely amazing. Wish I got it a while ago now. Best flash light I have owned. Battery will last 2 weeks or so with the xt one.

I bought this light at Johnstone's and can tell you first hand it works well, it puts out a lot of light.

I have not found a light brighter or better than this one, no one else that I know of has 180 Lumens, and if they do it's not at this price point.

No not a flash light. An LED work light. A drop light.

Shoot for flashlight i use one i got at sears on sale for 19.99. 140 lumen LED.

But im looking for a work light. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM3121761302P?prdNo=17&blockNo=17&blockType=G17

Like this. I have that one. And i have another that is battery powered. But its NiMH. I want lithium. I want a removable battery. Cannot find such a thing. And idk why on the site that thing is $50. It was $29 at sears. lol

But i want a battery powered lithium drop light that will last for 8 hours. That has a replacable battery.

All of em are rechargeable. But you cant simply pop a charged battery in. And the 1 that i found iwth a removable battery? Cant find where they sell teh batteries. lol

IDK i guess im holding out that milwaukee will make one. Cause that 18v lithium battery will power a light for 8+ hours.

LOL but yea a drop light. No one clicked the first link?

Have a look at this headlamp! I have one and like it rather than a flashlight i have to carry. If you can believe it the coleman brand led headlamps a wally world are not too shabby either for the price.

not rechargable though.

I just got this yesterday it came free with the drill and impact driver. Think it's around 130-140 lumens. Only used it one call yesterday but I'm very impressed with it. The magnets on the light will come in very hand to.

It also have a very nice white light not like some led's

Another vote for the streamlight knucklehead! Super bright, great magnet, and a hook... light can be adjusted to any angle you need! I believe intrinsically safe as well, but not positive.

Best work light, ever:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41PGb7VsQBL.jpg
Ray-o-Vac SE3DLN Sportsman Xtreme 300-Lumen LED Lantern.

$24 at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Rayovac-SE3DLN-Sportsman-300-Lumen-Lantern/dp/B0018S4XIS/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1311546748&sr=8-10)

Uses 3 D cells, but I have rechargeable AAs in mine. Charge them ~1x/month. Regular D's would probably last me 2-3 months of daily use.

I've had three of these for 2 years now. They've been left in the rain, mud, and still kicking. I normally pop the reflector/globe off and use the built-in hook on the bottom, but sometimes the reflector is useful. I also have a magnetic hook I use to attach it to equipment/structural steel to free up my hands.

As far as flashlights go, I have two favorites:
a 4Sevens Quark AA^2 (2 AA LED light, 205 lumens, $60):
This is my every-day-carry light. I normally run it on medium or high, so 5-24 hours of runtime on two AAs. I almost never need the full 205 lumens, but it's nice to have it.
http://www.4sevens.com/images/4SevensQuarkAA2_800x536.jpg

and my "ridiculous" light:
a 4Sevens Quark TurboX (2 CR123A LED light, 450 lumens, programmable, $80):

What can I say...450 lumens in something the same height as an iPhone. What more needs to be said?

http://www.4sevens.com/images/TurboX_1.jpg

Surefire and Streamlight make a nice light, but they're no longer the only game in town. Though they charge like they are. That's why I like the 4Sevens lights. Well-built and very inexpensive for the performance.
