Try going to an Armstrong dealer. Not sure but they might be able to point yoou in right direction.

Barring that get the HP off motor and wheel size.
Measure the supply opeing and compare to other furnace literature of the era.

My gut tells me it is a 1400cfm furnace, but not positive.

Thanks but I have decided to go with a known replacement based on the out door tonage of the A/c

Tappan didn't even have their furnaces set up for A/C as a standard feature back then. Is this one of their orange and brown furnaces? I used to install a ton of them but had to buy the fan relays as an option if I was also installing cooling.
