I am thinking of working temporarily in the rebuilding of the Katrina areas. The idea is to work long hours for 6 months or so & help my bank account. Looking to get feedback from experieced tech's & any connections to the companies working there. Thanks!!!

contrary to some other posts...there is plenty of work down here and all the companies are advertizing for techs and installers....refrigerant and oil removal from the household refrigs were paying 30 an hour and couple weeks ago they still had about a half million to do...3-6month gig

food service techs with restaurant and c-store experience starting rate $18 an hour up, beenies and take home truck an all the hours you want call 888-626-1277 and talk with Tim, know we short about six techs right now...lost a bunch due to storm

didn't know Cheney owned HALIBURTON, just worked for them once and got some stock options....yes HALIBURTON big down here, has been for decades as they go where the oil is and have the stuff to get the job done and they pay top wages and benefits if you got the right stuff to work for them....
