Title: Environmental Compliance Officer
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Specific Responsibilities:
•Collaborates with other departments to direct CGSI Operations personnel and subcontractors in the execution of compliance related work activities.
•Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested to keep all parties informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
•Maintain a compliance library and other related documents accurately and completely; in accordance with changes in regulation and/or contract.
•Input required regulatory information into databases for reporting purposes.
•Performs site reviews to document conditions, prepare deficiency reports, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
•Able to develop, review and execute subcontract service requirements in accordance with company policy.
•Monitors the performance of the compliance program executables and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate measures to improve the effectiveness.
•Work involves reviewing work layout from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal and written instructions.
•Coordinates with other trade's personnel and the warehouse personnel in the identification of proper and correct materials, parts assemblies, and requirements for a variety of requisitions necessary for the job/task.
•Help perform periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items as required.
•Uses a variety of hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments. Respond to emergency site maintenance as required.
•Able to inspect and diagnose problems to determine and perform corrective repairs.
•Perform on call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
•May occasionally be required to operate Government or CGS-owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
•Will be required to perform various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering
•as required.
•Supports other department staff as needed or directed.
•Assists other trade groups in daily operations where required.
•Adheres to the established CGS safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
