I just got an ice-o machine used. The bin's (b40psa) drain tube is broken right at the back of the bin. Is there a way to remove and replace it? Or is there an alternative way to set-up the drainage?
Thanks...Lain

When you say the tube is broken on the back of the bin is the female fitting in place??? Also on the older models the drain could be run from the back or bottom.

There is only about 3 damaged threads (1/8") of a male fitting protruding from the back of the bin. Is this male fitting screwed into a female at the back of the bin?
There is no option to drain from the bottom on this unit.
Take a hacksaw blade
Insert it into the broken fitting
Hold the blade with a towel
Saw through the fitting at 6 O'clock and 12 O'clock
Use needlenose pliers to remove the broken nipple fitting.
Use a steel nipple to clean up the female threads

That worked perfect, no damage to the threads. Thanks for the tip.
