View Full Version : new furnace
I am looking to buy a new furnace there are so many different choices. I need help. Right now i have a 60,000 btu and thinking about getting a 2 stage. If i get a 2 stage can i go with an 80,000 btu? or is that going to be over kill. i have 960 square ft. in my house. i live in central il. it is an old house. insulation partially windows also old but up grading room by room year by years. tahnks for your help in advance

Judging by this and your other post (http://www.hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=83338), you would be better off hiring a HVAC Company to properly size, install, and set up a proper system in your home.
Otherwise you are likely going to purchase something you don't need!
