I have a question please. I have a control module that is supposed to flash fault codes and light the LED if the module fails. Is it possible for a control module to malfunction/fail and not have the LED light stay on?

Thanks in advance, jlehr

jler, do you have a make and model? I assume this is a compressor lock out, or is it a combustion control...short answer, if it has a set of contacts that break power to a control...and they are open, without the LED flash, well it could be bad. good luck and get us a little more info.

Jl,

My first inclination is to say that we lost control power somewhere. a lot of times you ar esupposed to see a steady glow if everything is ok. Do you have control power to the module?

This problem could result in serious damage or death.

For your personal safety (as well as others), why not call for professional help?

Remember:

Unit is malfunctioning and the price of fuel is WAY up...

So why not call and get the unit repaired? While they are there, have them clean and inspect your unit to insure a safe, efficient running system.
