No enough information.
Question for you... Why are you not asking your installer?

You don't have to answer that last question.... I already know the answer.
You are a DIYer! (that got a contractor almost a month ago)
Your post (http://www.hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=78493), stating you have approx. a 1500 sq ft home.
Another post (http://www.hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=78539), where you have approx. a 1500 sq ft home.
A post (http://www.hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=79518) 2 weeks later, where you now have a 1100 sq ft home.
I really enjoyed this post (http://www.hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=79649).

If your contractor can't answer your questions, get a new contractor!

How many depends on ...
Window could be 2' x 2'
or 12' x 8' on two sides
and face N, S, E or W.
Cape home could be in FL, Maine, Washington or California.
It's not rocket science,
it's Common Sen$e.
