i need to install a 2-ton condensing unit to the side of the building (setback area on back, 2 story condo) and the code inspector want's to have windload calculations on the wallbracket. does anybody know how to get them?
the inspector kept telling me that sometimes supplyhouses have engineers (standing in lines i guess) to sing of on those papers. yes they'd have to be signed, and i allready called sh's and they'll let me know once the lines start forming.

Ask your local structural engineer to perform calcs.

where are you? fill out your profile!
ask the inspector for the criteria! eg: what speed is required?
