Please contact a professional to have your unit cleaned and inspected.

You just never know what potential harm could result in a minor error.

So why not feel safe knowing your unit is running correctly and running at peak efficiency?

Well, beings it's against the site's rules, I would hope he would be concerned as any trained professional.

And as far as not getting paid, then why should we give you information for free?

Tell you what, go to work tomorrow and work the morning hours before clocking in...

Of the time it's close to the flame, but with Nordyne, you might check in the blower compartment.
You might want to kill power first....hope this helps.

Its too bad that with someone like that that you dont want to tell him how to blow himself up being you might get in trouble. The way he acts you wouldnt feel all that bad if he did blow himself up. Oh well I doubt he will be back under that name being I dont think anyone will be interested in giving him anything but FLACK.

everyone else kiss my ass.................not only is it against the rules to help DIY's,it's also not appropriate to perform any rectal smooching on this site. It's not that type of forum.

First, some of us don't have to ask whether it a DIYer post. You made it pretty obvious!

Second, I gave you VERY valuable information in both of your post. Unknowing you were unappreciative to it!

Third, "you wanted help so you could call someone", do you have a phone book? In what way do you need help to use it?

Forth, "you don't need to explain yourself either", well guess what, NIETHER DO WE!

Fifth, you can take that last comment and stick it!

Another moron goes in the bozo bucket...

I have started working on trailer furnaces this year because hardly anybody else wants to. but now i am begining to understand why nobody in this area wants to work on them, these people call and bug the **** out off ya trying to gain information out of ya and try to argue about pricing then they say they will call back later and they never hardly do. i dont know if it is worth it.

Maybe he was the cousin of the guy who installed a resi upflow furnace upside down and blew out the side of the trailer.

I'd be carefull second time around on that one too.

The flame sensor looks like a big red truck with flashing lights that will be parked in front of your home if you dont hire a professional.

First git yourself sitin infront of that furnace with these tools.

6-Pack of beer
First aid kit
Fire Extingoshier
10 in one screwdriver
Leather man
Lighter
Pliars
Paper Clip

Ok. Now take your lighter and light it. Wave it around to burn up any excess gas in the area.

Now, call a service company and let a pro do the job.

Any idea as to how it happened?

Sorry to hear about the loss of life. :(

can't be sure, but the tech turned off the gas and went to get a part, they think the homeowner turned the gas back on and when the tech went under the house he smelled the gas and hit the radio on his walkie talkie .and it may have sparked causing the explosion, of course no one really knows for sure, but working with gas is hazardous and should only be done by a trained professional. the home owner lived but his wife and the tech did not.
