I am a new member here and I am not a Pro.
I have to replace my 25-y.o. Weil-McLain steam boiler (natural gas). Model EG-45 (input 150,000 BTU; output 120,000 BTU; Sq. Ft. Steam - 375; Steam BTU/HR - 90,000).
Should I replace it by Weil-McLain unit or there are better and/or less expensive but good boilers? Any recommendations about good units?
Thank You.

MAKE SURE the dealer is well experienced in steam. Forced air and hot water heat can tolerate a hacked install or mistakes and keep you comfortable. Steam is not forgiving but great heat if done right.

Follow that link Noel gave you and there, you'll find a contractor locator. See if any are in your area.

Make sure he runs it clean before he skims it. We do it for 24 hrs and come back the next mourning to fill it.
