Old Bay Seasoning.

I really liked that Old Bay Seasoning. Every once in a while I get a "memory whiff" and wanna go eat more crabs.

We have some of that in the cupboard, good on lots of seafood thingys.
I make killer crabcakes.

I would say that place was one of the high lights of the trip. Love that stuff. Was kind of disappointed that the rain washed it out of my beard so i couldn't tast it again later.

I found a can of Old Bay when I was in Cayman. Put it on my microwaved eggs in the mornings to remind me of home.

Old Bay is good on just about anything from french fries to potato salad. You should have asked the restaraunt for some Jack , they gave Shaun a bag full of it to take back to Canada.

and did a little Cajun Boil last night for the fam and a couple of guys on my sons football team. Put like 1/2 cup of old bay in the boil with the potatoes, corn onions, sausage, crab legs and shrimp, then after I drained it, I dosed it all again. MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm! Even papered the coffee table and poured it out there while we watched the game film from last fridays home coming game win. Fun night!!!!!

Different versions of the seasoning from different vendoers. Wye River seasoning is a good one, bit more salt than Old Bay.
Old Bay is especially good for finding possum crabs. The ones that you think may be dead, (don't want to cook dead crabs, the can grow some nasty things inside when the die), just shake a bit of Old Bay in their eyes and watch the attenae flick.

I actually prefer the Wye River over old bay. Each one does the trick though. Hot corn on the cob, smothered in butter rolled in wye river. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Another Old Bay addict here. I like making gumbo. You can put just about anything in it and it cleans out the refrigerator of leftovers.
