Its a cool tool but I just don't see what you guys are doing with it. I would just use a drill/ driver. Something that small can't have many uses.

Is it variable speed?
I have the Makita with same shape and fits great in the Veto vertically but no speed control.

2 speed with variable clutch and it has spindle lock if you have a tight screw you can use it like a regular nut runner

Looks just like a version of the newer Makita but the battery is a 7.2V
I love mine but it is a impact and is loosing it and I lost one of the batteries.

with the hitachi youll still need a bigger, more powerful drill/driver but, as a everyday carry tool thats light and fits the veto nicely i like it alot.

They gave it a best value here.
I'll have to think about it with that big power difference vs the Makita 7.2
I can drill and turn nuts and bolts with the impact Makita version.

You won't find 'em at Lowes or H.D. but they are the bees knees...
