Seems I read on here last year that condensate water was too______(something).
As usual, we're exp. another drought here in the south, so I have a bucket under the condensate pipe from my attic AH.
Is it just plain, ol water or there other ingredients that maybe harmful to plants?
I could just test the water but its easier to ask you guys. Thx

It's not water I would drink, but I believe it would be safe for plants. I would test the ph to see if the levels would be compatible to what plants you may have. More information about what plants like what ph could be found through you're local extension agent, or a local plant nursery.
There will be bacteria in the water, so that's why I say not to drink, but good soil depends on bacteria.

Condensation from A/C's are probally OK for plants, but from high efficency furnaces are another story ( very acidic ).

Got mine piped directly to my tomato plants. They love it.

Code here despises using the water for something constructive. If I still lived on the acreage, I would pipe it somewhere (dog bowl?).
That said, mine drips to the West side of the house where I encourage it to one of my peach trees. It is by far the most lush of my 3 fruit trees.
The water you collect from the a/c unit is the same moisture (humidity) that you breath outside your house. It is exactly what happens when you put a cold glass of lemonade down on the patio table. The warm air hits the cold glass and condenses on the outside of the glass. Now if there are germs (bacteria) on the coil, there will be bacteria in the water,
It is however perfectly ok to water your plants with.
As others have said the same cannot be said of the water from a furnace.
That would be like watering your plants with tomato juice or orange juice (roughly the same acid as).
good luck
