Infared Heating System

I am having a porch enclosed and insulated to be an enclosed mudroom. The house has a 2 Stage gas furnance, but I do not want to heat this room with the main house heat. I was thinking of using an infared heater like the one below. We would only want to keep the room 50-60F in the winter. (I am in Northern NY).

Has anyone used these type of heaters? Has anyone used this brand? http://www.electricheat.com/

Electric heat is electric heat. As it says it is healthful. A light bulb is also healthful.
