have all the kinks been worked out of this thing? i like the design and the fact my 1250's would mount up to it, but i have heard some bad reviews. Any input would be appreciated.......:putergreet:

That fire sale place had the two way Sherman for around 70 bucks I think but now it is gone . I was going to give one a shot.

When I bought mine a year ago I was assured it was the latest and greatest. It worked fine up until recently. Sight glass started leaking in a vacuum. I called in this week and I guess there's been some more revisions, and they'll warranty it. I'll let you know how that turns out. I still like the feel and look of it with the DC on top of it. I really hope they have it perfected, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.

Like the manifold if it wouldn't leak every 6 months. Had mine in for repairs under warranty twice and now it sits on my dash as a paper weight.
Don't waste your money.

Got mine back last week, tested it right away. Held 400 psi nitro, able to get the manifold down to 200 micron with everything capped off, no hoses hooked up. Not exactly "vacuum rated" but we'll see how it goes. The handles on the new ones turn easier. It meters refrigerant excellent. I used it to charge 90 lbs R22 last Friday. I'm happy with it right now. If I need to pull a vac on a large system I'll break out the tree & core removers. In a few months I'll probably switch to paradigm, should get me by until then.
