I used to think Blackhawk/proto was decent stuff. Very light tapping from a hammer did a number on these punches. Anyone else have similar issue with there punches?

Are those for punching out crooked holes?
I purchased a punch not too long ago to remove the race from rear wheel bearings and it did the same thing except the end rounded out with just a few hits then started to bend. Don't know the make but looks the same.
Seems none of this stuff is make to last even from one use anymore.

I always liked Proto as well.
Sheesh.
For the money at least Craftsman is still decent.
I guess we will all have to go Snap On , Mac , Matco in the future.
And resemble auto mechanics.
