Anyone know of a way to measure the volume in a large propane tank and feed that value back to a BMS system?

How about just a low, med, hi level?

I envision either 0-10VDC or dry contact to the BMS.

Thanks!

Larger refrigerant receivers have level indicators like you describe.

If the cylinder in question here already has an analog dial type indicator, you may be able to replace the dial face with a device exactly like what you want.

Call the manufacturer of any gauge already present or Rochester gauges.

Could use load cells under the device and calculate it based on weight.
