Hello, I have an issue cooling my second zone upstairs.
The jist is that on a 90 degree day the air coming out of the vents upstairs is about 70 degrees providing little cooling. I could consider this okay if the air coming out of the downstairs vents was 70 too, but its 55 degrees.
Factors that I am considering for the poor preformance are; the compressor is outside on the opposite side of the house with the heat exchanger in a small attic, meaning the freon line is very long and the line isn't very cold when I touch it, maybe I need a larger compressor for the upstairs, can we add insulation to the freon lines? should we move the compressor to the roof so the freon run is within a few feet of the heat exhanger?
thanks
steve
