Does anyone know if Trane makes a LON card to replace an old COMM 4 card in a CGA chiller? We are upgrading a building to Tridium and need a way to communicate with this chiller, I found a Comm 4 module for tridium but the price was a little steep.

Yeah, about 200,000 g's steep

What panel is on the chiller?

If it's a CH530 then there's a LON card available

If it's a UCP2 then I've heard that you can do LON with that panel but I've never seen it done on a chiller, CSC yes, Intellipak RTU yes, but never on a chiller.

It is a CGA-FC50 chiller. After doing some research we finally found a card that should work, it is a LCI-C and the literature says it is made for field retrofit on the CGAF and RTAA chillers. We have one ordered so we shall see if it works!
